  • Just a quickie...it took me forever to get online, so I am now out of the mood to blog! ..plus I really don't have anything to say anyway...I just promised myself to come over here daily, so I am keeping my word.  :)

    We spent today just working around the house. Hubby set up "his" room & is piddling in there.  I started printing out some pictures to put in frames and got caught up on paying bills & filing paperwork, etc.
    We had to get out for a bit to pick up a few things at the store & oh my goodness, it was cold outside! It is always deceiving when the sun is shining & here in the house it was so warm...but out in that below zero wind chill it froze my hands & my face!

    I found out my new great nephew had jaundice & so they had to stay an extra day at the hospital, but from what I hear they did get home yesterday & are now trying to adjust to their new schedule..or should I say lack of one!  Oh how I remember those first few weeks...that was worse than the actual childbirth! lol.. They will get use to it though, everyone does & they will be just fine.

    Some good news on daughter's car...it is suppose to be finished on Tuesday!  They had gone ahead & pulled the old engine out & got all of the prep work done before even hearing from the insurance, so they did get the approval on Friday & are on top of things. I will be so happy to get my car back, although it hasn't been that big of a deal sharing it with her. It has actually kept me home to get a lot of things done! lol...

    I hope you are all enjoying your weekend.  I am so ready for warm weather & to do some fishing! Only about  4 more months! ugh!

  • I came down to Charlotte, N.C to visit my sister and the cold weather followed me here...brrr...expecting snow here tomorrow or Monday.

    Glad to hear on daughters car...i am really happy to hear that they followed through and did what they should do ;o)

    So how is Hubby liking having his MAN room?

  • When we have power outages I end up cleaning up and doing all sorts of good things. I kinda like our cold weather here, 62 this morning...not fishing weather though. :) I'm curious about how the car will be, I hope it's good.
