  • Where did the weekend go?  It went too fast, that is for sure.

    My internet connection has been the pits last night & all of today. If I can get online at all, it is running SO slow and half the time it times out before I can get anything loaded.  Daughter is loving not having the satellite anymore and having high speed!

    Can you believe that this morning at 7:00, the temperature outside was NEGATIVE 12!  That was the actual temperature. The wind chill was -20! Nope, I didn't go outside at all! I stayed in the nice heated house.

    Daughter came over for a while this afternoon. Brought her laundry & stayed & visited for a while.
    We finally checked out our Wii game we got for Christmas...Just Dance 2...Oh my god...I am too old for that! lol...I was so out of breath & think I threw my hip & shoulder out! haha...
    It was fun though & her & I were laughing so hard we were crying!  I finally just sat down on the couch & watched her & moved my arms around a few times to score!

    OK, now I know this is going to shock those of you who know me, but can you believe that we are already into the 9th day of the month ~a new year and I have not taken one picture! I know...I am in shock!
    I am going to have to make up for lost time here real soon!  It is just that everything outside is so nasty right now. And it has been SO bitter cold out.

    I hear that parts of Texas got snow today. My mom sent me several pictures that she took at her place. She was all excited as she loves the snow.
    She didn't get out to make a snowman, but she did write me a message in the snow....

    I don't blame you for staying in...that is Bloody cold!!!!!!
    I love just Dance...I haven't tried just Dance 2 yet...i do have it though.

  • Satellite connection must be like the telephone line...kinda slow. I'm a dsl dude.:) We're warming up tonight at 72 degrees. :D

  • You are so right on where did the week end go.  The days fly by now.  Hope you get your internet service fixed and back up to par again.   negative 12.  Oh brrrr.  I will never complain about 19 again.  Love the photo your Mom wrote in the snow.

  • Those are some frigid temps. I wouldn't have came out of the house either. What a sweet note from your momma. That was just too cute! Stay in and stay warm.
