  • It is snowing & foggy here, so it is interfering with my satellite connection...it took me forever to just get this site loaded...now I will be lucky to even get this submitted .

Just  keeping up with my promise of trying to get over here every day. I was hoping to read some posts tonight, but that won't be happening with this slow connection.

Daughter got her car back today, which means I got mine back!!!
Her rash is no better. It has now spread to her feet. Poor thing...from feet to scalp. The pills haven't really helped with the itching much. The Aveeno bath soak & cream is helping her sooth it some.
She has to work tomorrow, so she is really hoping that it doesn't spread to her face overnight.
I really hate it that there is nothing that I can do to help her.

I was hoping to get the new snowshoes out tomorrow & get out to play, but the winds are suppose to be horrid & the temps below zero, so think that we will wait until maybe Sunday.
Tomorrow will be a good day to stay in & watch football & I am going to make a pot of Taco soup.

Goodnight Xanga land.....I hope I have a connection tomorrow to come by & visit you all.

    Have a great weekend.

  • Hi, Doreen. I just commented a couple of posts back, and realized I missed something when I saw this one. You mentioned a rash and I didn't read that earlier. Your poor daughter! Are they just keeping an eye on it right now? Yeah, that would be awful if it spread to her face - she wouldn't want to risk scarring by scratching, either!I hope your connection improves. Your taco soup sounds yummy - I'm making stuffed peppers this weekend. Both of those things sound like good cold weather food!

  • Poor Daughter ;o(
    I really feel for her.
I hope she gets some relief soon!!!

Yikes man it is really hard for me to imagine your temps.

How much snow are you getting?

  • @Still_groovy -

the doctor gave her pills for the itching & she is using hydrocortizone on the rash. They have no idea what it is. They said she must have had a viral infection..although she never was sick? Has me worried.

  • @Luvthewaves -

we are getting about an average of an inch or 2 a day.keep in mind this is all on top of all that is already out there!

  • Thanks for stopping by & commenting. Hope they find out what's up w/ your daughter. Make sure to ask Dr. about Rocky Mountain Fever (might be Are M spotted fever, I can't remember) I hope you enjoy the snow & keep it. W/ my job it's no fun when it snows.

  • Argh... I go nutty when the internet isn't working - even when I can't get on for long! Heh. I hope you get a better connection. Hooray on getting the car back. I know that feeling too well . I hope your daughter's rash clears up quickly! peace & smiles
