Just a quick post. Maybe if I try to do them shorter, I can do them more frequent!
It has been cloudy & rainy the last several days. I think that after tomorrow, the rain is out of here, at least for a few days.
I hope so as I would like to get out with my camera & get some pictures of the beautiful colors.
Believe it or not, I still have a lot of wildflowers left in the garden!Hubby got to go to the opening football game of the season. The Packers at that!(remember, I am far behind!)
It was a bus trip that was done by a company that he does business with.
We have not been to any of the Packers games yet, so it was extra exciting for him!
I know it...he is the only one NOT wearing a Packers shirt...but like he pointed out, he is wearing a ball cap!
These are the people who went from his office. They also got to sit in one of the VIP booths!
Yes, I was very envious, but also very happy that he was able to go. He & I will go sometime on our own & sit in the "regular" people seats!Hubby's Grandma turned 90 in August!
There is usually a family reunion in September, so they also celebrated her birthday then.
Love the cake that they did for her.
She looks wonderful for being 90 years old.
I really wish that we would have been able to have been there to celebrate with her.
This picture is hubby's parents, grandma & one of his uncles.
I got a few pictures from a cousin & am hoping to find a group photo from someone who was there. Two other events happened in September and I am so upset with myself for not taking any pictures.
First of all, hubby's Aunt & Uncle came up for a visit. They live in Colorado, but were down in Oklahoma for the reunion & then was heading to South Dakota for a few days, so they stopped by to see us for a couple of days!
It was great getting to see them & catch up. But not one time did I pull out my camera. I even mentioned that I needed to get some pictures, but just never did. Also, daughter celebrated her 22nd birthday! She was so happy to get over with her 21st year. lol.. We ended up celebrating with her the day before her actual birthday because she had other plans with her boyfriend and other friends.
We actually got to meet her boyfriend for the first time as she brought him over for her birthday dinner! He is a very nice guy. A lot of fun & fit right in with this zany family! But I did not get one picture from that night either.
So here is the only picture of the 2 of them together that I had to shamelessly steal from her Facebook page!
OK...that's all that I have time for today.
I have some venison stew cooking for dinner tonight. It sure does smell good!
Need to get a few other things done around the house now.
