Spring Sky
As you all know, spring has been late in arriving this year. Some of the storms & changes in the weather have provided some pretty clouds & sunsets though.
Here are a few from this past weekend. Notice the trees are still bare of leaves. Usually by this time each year, the lilac bushes are all in full bloom. They do have buds on them, but no blooms as of yet.
The trees are just starting to put buds on them.
I do like the bare trees against the pretty sunset though...
As a child, I use to love to look at the clouds and find "things" in them...(I still do!)
I remember laying on the slide in our backyard looking up at the sky & dreaming & seeing what I could find in the clouds.
These were some pretty impressive clouds either before or after a storm that we had.Today started off rainy & very windy. The sun has finally come out late afternoon, but it is still very windy. I have had a lazy day inside.
I did do a lot of work yesterday both inside & out. I love that feeling you get after doing hard physical work outside, then sitting out on the deck afterwards after a nice shower & relaxing with a yummy cocktail .
Last nights cocktail of choice was a Mojito.
Tonight will need to be Margaritas in celebration of Cinco de Mayo...along with some tacos

The sky pictures are beautiful. I did the same thing as a child.. Once in awhile I still like to look up and find things in the clouds... I forgot all about Cinco de Mayo today. Hope you enjoyed that margarita. That is one of my favorite drinks.

I can't blame you for admiring such beauty. I love looking at sunsets myself. The tree silhouettes are a splendid foreground for those clouds. I too remember finding shapes in the clouds as a kid. The kid in me still does from time to time as well.
oh, i am diggin on these sunsets through the trees!! i almost like winter better because i can really see what each tree is made of ... i find beauty in their skeletons! i still discover things in the clouds ... look for them every day!!

It is another gorgeous day today as well as yesterday & I spent both days working outside. You know, I don't really need an excuse for a holiday to eat Mexican food or drink a margarita..both are among my faves 
the book just came out by the way....
